Abstract:The film Ping Pong Playa directed by Jessica Yu has its setting in a table tennis champion family, revealing the generation conflict and kinship of the immigrant family. Based on the film, this thesis aims to grope for the differences in family values between China and America by describing different family values between China and America in Ping Pong Playa, exploring the implication from the film and analyzing the main factors for differences between Chinese and American family values so as to avoid culture conflict and improve intercultural communication skills by.
