Abstract

Based on the relationship between mothers and daughters, this paper makes an analysis of the cultural gaps and conflicts between China and America. It also reveals the existence of cultural coexistence between China and America. In this paper, the author analyzes the causes of Chinese and western cultural differences from the following aspects such as values, religious beliefs, and behaviors. And through the critical self-reflection, the four Chinese mothers and their daughters finally reach a mutual understanding. It indicates that Chinese and western culture will mix together in the end.
