Abstract

In the learning process, interest is the best teacher. If the teaching can arouse students' interest, it will be easy for students to focus on the learning. So they can acquire more knowledge and show great joy and desire in the learning procedures. However, in the current situation of English teaching, students' interest in primary schools in learning English is reducing with the age. This paper will give advice on how to maintain students’ interest with the showing of the teacher's personal charm, the increasing interest of English learning contents and the arrangement of reasonable and effective assignment.
