Abstract

Through the brutal environment of nature, the author embodies the pessimistic destiny of the hero of the novel by opposing, sharp and violent contradictions, and makes its noble and extraordinary spirit give a shock. Although Santiago is destined to fail, but the reader can also see the author's own limitations, and the spirit of the novel, the will is undeniable.
