Abstract

As we all know, English is one of compulsory subjects in primary school education. It plays an important role in the whole process of education. Game teaching, as a way the pupils love, can stimulate their interest. So, the author puts forward an idea of applying the games into teaching. 

The paper focuses on the proper application of games in English teaching in primary schools. The author makes further researches by documentary analysis and specific observations. This paper mainly focuses on how to improve teaching effect of English in primary schools by the following aspects: games in language teaching; advantages of game teaching; the proper application of games in English teaching in primary schools and makes some possible suggestions.
