Abstract: Sense and Sensibility is one of Jane Austen’s famous works, although it was the first work of Jane Austen. And from the time it was published, people have begun to research on it. They make the research on different themes embodied in it: the author’s attitude on marriage, the symbolism writing skill, the feminism in the novel. This paper will mainly discuss the feminism in the novel, and probe into the feminism contained in the two main characters, as well as the feminism. Firstly, the article introduces the related theory research about Sense and Sensibility briefly. In the second part, it mainly talks about the exploration of feminism more deeply. Finally, analysis of feminist by combining the marriage of the two key characters in the book.
