Abstract

The thesis is a study on the comparison of cultural customs between the U.K. and the U.S.A From knowing the history, the location, the habits of these two countries we can find that the cultural customs of the U.K. has a very long history. On the contrary, the cultural customs of the U.S.A. are very popular and modern. However, both of them have the same cultural characteristic, that is, nationality. And cultural customs are the reflection of the countries’ history and culture. Form this study, we can know that although they speak the same language, they still have some differences. Only we can know the differences of the cultural customs, can we strengthen the communication of the two countries.
